Our client is an international health-related charity delivering life-saving work, underpinned by a strong humanitarian mission. This is a great opportunity to join a purpose-led organisation where your work will have a real and visible impact. This is a great opportunity for a confident, hands-on HR Generalist who enjoys making things run smoothly and wants to see the direct impact of their work day to day. You will be joining a small, supportive HR team and working closely with the Senior HR Manager, taking ownership of day-to-day HR operations and ensuring processes are efficient, clear and well managed.

As a HR Generalist, you will:

  • Support end-to-end recruitment, from drafting adverts through to onboarding
  • Manage HR administration and maintain accurate employee records
  • Support employee relations matters including absence and policy queries
  • Assist with monthly payroll processes, including starters, leavers and changes
  • Contribute to HR policies, processes and continuous improvement initiatives

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a HR Generalist or similar role
  • Good understanding of UK employment legislation
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities independently
  • Confident communicator with a calm and professional approach
  • Interest in working within a mission-led or not-for-profit environment
