We’re partnering with a dynamic and growing accounting practice that’s expanding its international footprint. They’re on the lookout for an experienced and strategic Head of US Accounting & Tax Services to lead and grow their US-focused financial operations. This is a unique opportunity to shape a developing area of the business with a high degree of autonomy and impact.

As Head of US Accounting & Tax Services, you will:

  • Lead all US financial functions including payroll, sales tax compliance, and federal/state tax filings.
  • Act as the go-to expert for US accounting queries and compliance requirements.
  • Evaluate and implement cloud-based tools (e.g. Xero) and automation solutions to scale operations.
  • Onboard and support clients expanding into or operating within the US market.
  • Build and lead a US-focused team, developing training, onboarding, and quality control processes.
  • Provide insights on US regulatory trends and collaborate on global growth strategies.
  • Support business development and identify new service opportunities alongside commercial teams.
  • Stay current with industry changes and maintain professional certifications.

You’ll likely be someone who:

  • Is CPA-qualified (or equivalent) with a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
