Head of Finance Location: Sheffield, England, United Kingdom Base pay range : Based on skills and experience – further details available through the recruiter. About the Job Areas: Financial leadership, budgeting, governance, reporting. Our client is a well established organisation with a national remit and is now seeking a Head of Finance to lead its finance function and support strategic decision making at a senior level. This role will play a key part in ensuring strong financial governance, high quality reporting and effective financial planning across the organisation. Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership for the finance function, ensuring robust financial planning and control Lead the development of annual budgets, forecasts and financial modelling to support organisational priorities Deliver clear and timely financial information to senior leaders and governance forums Oversee year‑end processes, statutory reporting and external audit activity Translate complex financial data into accessible insight for non‑finance stakeholders Lead, develop and support a high‑performing finance team Ensure effective financial systems, processes and risk management are in place Build strong working relationships across the organisation and with external partners Qualifications Fully qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA Strong experience of budgeting, financial modelling and forecasting Ability to operate strategically while maintaining excellent attention to detail Proven experience leading and developing teams Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups Strong planning, problem‑solving and time‑management skills A values‑led approach, demonstrating integrity, transparency and a commitment to inclusive working practices Seniority level : Mid‑Senior level Employment type : Full‑time Job function : Finance, Accounting/Auditing, and Management (Industries: Legal Services, Government Relations Services, Government Administration) Referrals increase your chances of interviewing by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
