This is a great opportunity for a confident, hands-on HR Generalist who enjoys making things run smoothly and wants to see the direct impact of their work day to day. You will be joining a small, supportive HR team and working closely with the Senior HR Manager, taking ownership of day-to-day HR operations and ensuring processes are efficient, clear and well managed.
As a HR Generalist, you will:
- Support end-to-end recruitment, from drafting adverts through to onboarding
- Manage HR administration and maintain accurate employee records
- Support employee relations matters including absence and policy queries
- Assist with monthly payroll processes, including starters, leavers and changes
- Contribute to HR policies, processes and continuous improvement initiatives
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a HR Generalist or similar role
- Good understanding of UK employment legislation
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities independently
- Confident communicator with a calm and professional approach
- Interest in working within a mission-led or not-for-profit environment
