Hi π We are working with a well established membership organisation to recruit an Events Assistant on a 6 month fixed term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with experience supporting the delivery of events.
You will play a key role in coordinating a varied programme of member events, helping to ensure an excellent experience for attendees while supporting the wider team with event administration and logistics. π₯ As an Events Coordinator, you will:
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of both virtual and in person events.
- Manage event registrations, attendee communications and booking systems.
- Liaise with venues, suppliers, speakers and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare event materials, agendas and supporting documentation.
- Support the promotion of events through email campaigns, websites and member communications.
- Maintain accurate records and produce post event reports and feedback summaries.
- Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the events programme. π₯ What we're looking for:
- Previous experience coordinating events, meetings, conferences or member activities.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience managing multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and event management systems.
- Experience working within a membership body, professional association, charity or similar organisation would be beneficial. π₯ What we offer:
