Opportunity | Estates Manager Organisation | Education Sector Location | South West London Working Pattern | Temp to Perm Salary | Β£44,000 - Β£46,000+ Benefits A leading education organisation is seeking an experienced Estates Manager to oversee multiple sites and lead the delivery of safe, compliant and well-maintained facilities. This role requires a unique mix of compliance expertise, practical maintenance knowledge and strong people skills. You'll be just as comfortable managing regulatory records and health & safety requirements as you are mentoring site teams, working alongside colleagues to resolve maintenance issues and building relationships with senior stakeholders. Your Responsibilities: βœ” Lead facilities operations across multiple sites βœ” Ensure compliance records, inspections and statutory requirements are maintained βœ” Oversee health & safety, risk assessments and contractor performance βœ” Manage planned and reactive maintenance works βœ” Support, mentor and develop site teams βœ” Carry out or support practical maintenance tasks when required βœ” Manage projects, budgets and procurement activities βœ” Build strong relationships with operational leaders and key stakeholders βœ” Balance competing priorities across multiple departments and locations What They're Looking For: βœ” Proven Facilities or Estates Management experience βœ” Strong compliance, health & safety and record-keeping knowledge βœ” Hands-on maintenance experience across general building services βœ” Experience leading, coaching or mentoring facilities teams βœ” Strong contractor and supplier management experience βœ” Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills βœ” Ability to influence and work effectively with a range of senior leaders βœ” Full UK driving licence βœ” School or education sector experience highly desirable βœ” IOSH, NEBOSH or similar qualification advantageous
