Opportunity | Events Manager Organisation | Professional Membership & Events Location | London Working Pattern | Hybrid Contract | 12 month Fixed-Term Contract Salary | Β£42,000 - Β£44,000 An established membership organisation is seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of in-person, virtual and flagship events. This role is ideal for an events professional who combines end-to-end event delivery expertise, team leadership experience and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. You'll oversee event planning, speaker management, supplier coordination and onsite delivery while ensuring events are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard. Your Responsibilities: βœ” Manage events from planning through to delivery and post-event evaluation βœ” Lead flagship, virtual and large-scale events βœ” Line manage and support Event Executives βœ” Coordinate speakers, facilitators and event contributors βœ” Manage event logistics, suppliers, venues and production partners βœ” Monitor budgets, invoices and event expenditure βœ” Collaborate with marketing and internal stakeholders to maximise event success βœ” Produce post-event reporting and deliver continuous improvements What They're Looking For: βœ” Proven experience delivering large-scale in-person and virtual events βœ” Experience managing multiple event workstreams and deadlines βœ” Previous line management, mentoring or team leadership experience βœ” Strong speaker, supplier and stakeholder management skills βœ” Budget management and financial administration experience βœ” Excellent organisational and communication skills βœ” Ability to remain calm under pressure during live event delivery βœ” Experience within a membership body, charity or professional organisation would be advantageous
