About the Job
Our client is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to build, manage and develop strong relationships with a portfolio of regional organisations. You’ll act as a trusted partner and ambassador, working collaboratively with clients, internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver value, improve outcomes and support long-term skills development across the sector.
As a Client Relationship Manager, you will:
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building strong and effective working relationships.
- Deliver high-quality relationship management and customer service, ensuring clients view the organisation as a trusted strategic partner.
- Support clients to identify, plan and deliver training and development solutions aligned to their business needs.
- Promote apprenticeships and other new entrant pathways as part of sustainable workforce planning.
- Support the delivery of regional programmes, projects and initiatives.
- Identify and escalate commercial or development opportunities in line with agreed processes.
- Maintain accurate records of client engagement and activity using internal systems.
- Gather and share labour market intelligence to support client and organisational planning.
- Engage with training providers and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration.
- Diagnose and resolve client issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Travel regularly across the region, including occasional overnight stays.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a client relationship, stakeholder engagement or customer-facing role.
- Experience working in a solutions-focused capacity, supporting organisations to meet business needs.
- Knowledge or experience of training, competence or workforce development systems.
- Ability to build relationships across multiple levels and manage challenging conversations.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Confident working independently while contributing to wider team objectives.
