We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Assistant to join our home nursery team. You will work alongside the nursery manager to provide high-quality, nurturing care for children aged under five in a warm, safe, and stimulating home environment. Key Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day care of children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and our nursery's policies.
  • Your duties will include planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development across all seven areas of the EYFS curriculum.
  • You'll maintain a safe and hygienic environment, assisting with cleaning, meal preparation, and nappy changes as required.
  • Building positive relationships with both children and their families is essential to this role.
  • You will communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and wellbeing, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • You'll also contribute to creating individual learning plans, observing and documenting children's development, and supporting children.
