Overview

Our client, a leading professional regulator, is seeking a Case Manager to join their Fitness to Practise (FtP) team on an ongoing temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in protecting the public and maintaining professional standards within a respected organisation.

As a Case Manager, you will manage a caseload of Fitness to Practise investigations, ensuring each case is progressed efficiently, fairly, and in line with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of FtP cases from initial assessment through to resolution.
  • Gather, analyse, and assess evidence to support decision-making.
  • Liaise with complainants, registrants, witnesses, and legal professionals.
  • Draft clear, accurate correspondence, reports, and case summaries.
  • Monitor and progress cases in line with agreed timescales and regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of case management processes.

Person Specification

  • Previous experience of case management, investigations, or regulatory processes.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience in a regulator, membership body, or public sector organisation.
