Our client is a leading provider of outsourced business services, supporting organisations across the UK with health and safety, HR, employment law and compliance solutions. They work with businesses of all sizes, helping them reduce risk, stay compliant and create safer, more productive workplaces.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Account Manager to manage a portfolio of existing clients, strengthen relationships and identify opportunities to introduce additional services. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded account manager who has experience working within health and safety, compliance or business services and enjoys building long-term client partnerships. The role is fully remote, with regular travel to meet clients.
As an Account Manager, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients across a range of sectors
- Build strong relationships with business owners, HR leaders and senior stakeholders
- Conduct regular account reviews to understand client needs and ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional compliance and advisory services
- Prepare proposals and commercial quotations
- Negotiate renewals and secure long-term partnerships
- Maintain accurate records and pipeline updates within the CRM system
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a high-quality customer experience
- Travel to client sites across the UK as required
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in Account Management, Client Relationship Management or Business Development
- Previous experience working within health and safety, HR, compliance, professional services or outsourced business services
- Strong commercial awareness and consultative selling skills
- Proven track record of retaining and growing existing client accounts
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
