Our client is a national company in the arts & creative industry. They are looking for a dynamic HR Manager who is ready for the next step up in their job. The HR Manager is responsible for the effective day to day delivery of people management services and activities for the full employee life-cycle for their nominated departments including recruitment, employee relations and performance management, through the timely provision of HR advice and support. The HR Manager will also provide support across other departments where this is needed.
Key Responsibilities
- In conjunction with the Senior HR Manager, building and maintaining effective relationships with managers in order to successfully deliver HR services.
- Managing the delivery of advice and day to day HR services related to recruitment, induction, probation, performance management and employee relations.
- Managing, motivating and developing the HR Officer / HR Coordinator.
- Working with managers to deliver a timely and effective end to end recruitment service, including on-boarding and induction.
- Ensuring that staff are provided with appropriate information and advice on employment matters that affect them including HR policies and terms and conditions.
- Providing guidance on training and development for and to managers and their teams.
Person Specification
- Part CIPD qualified or equivalent experience with evidence of continuous professional development and working towards full qualification.
- Proven generalist HR experience including advising and supporting managers.
- Up to date knowledge of employment law and HR good practice.
