Overview
SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant ready to start your career in education while supporting SEN pupils with Autism and ADHD. Immediate start until July 2026. £81 – £101 per day. \’Good\’ primary school, Ladywood.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the SENCo and class teacher to provide tailored support for pupils with Autism and ADHD.
- Scaffold tasks into clear steps, use visual timetables and routines, run short, purposeful group activities, and help pupils regulate and re-engage.
- Note quick wins, share next steps, and keep strategies consistent between home and school.
Requirements
- Degree – 2:2 or above in any subject.
- Communication – Clear, confident verbal and written skills.
- Enhanced DBS – Held already or willingness to obtain.
- Desire to work in education/with children – Genuine interest in SEN, behaviour support and pupil wellbeing.
- Experience working with children – Any relevant experience (SEN support, mentoring, tutoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
