Base pay range
- KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Immediate start until July 2026
- £81 – £101 per day
- Outstanding primary school, Ward of Yardley
- 1:1 and small group intervention across the KS2 curriculum
Work with Year 3–6 to run short, targeted interventions in reading, writing and maths. Provide 1:1 catch‑up, guide small groups, pre‑teach/overlearn key content and support assessment preparation. Prepare simple resources, keep concise impact notes and share next steps with class teachers.
You’re a graduate who communicates clearly, stays organised and builds positive relationships with pupils and staff. You follow guidance, use initiative to keep sessions purposeful and are motivated to make measurable progress with learners.
Requirements
- Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
- Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
- Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Desire to work in education/with children – Strong commitment to inclusion and pupil wellbeing.
