Use your clear communication and steady approach to help pupils move their learning on. *** Graduate Teaching Assistant *** Immediate start until July 2026 *** £81 – £101 per day *** ‘Good’ primary school, Erdington *** 1:1 and small group support across KS2 What you’ll do: Work with Years 3–6 to deliver short, targeted boosters in reading, writing and maths. You’ll pre-teach key content, guide small groups, run quick retrieval practice, and provide 1:1 catch-up where needed. Set up resources, keep sharp notes on progress, and agree next steps with class teachers after each cycle. Who you are: A reliable graduate who explains ideas simply, keeps sessions focused, and builds positive relationships with pupils. You’re organised, responsive to feedback, and motivated to see measurable gains. Requirements • Degree – 2:2 or above in any subject. • Communication – Clear, confident written and verbal skills. • Enhanced DBS – Held already or willingness to obtain. • Desire to work in education/with children – Strong commitment to inclusion and pupil progress. • Experience working with children – Any relevant experience (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential. The School: A ‘Good’ Erdington primary with well-sequenced curricula, supportive leadership and established KS2 routines.
