EYFS Teaching AssistantAre you an EYFS Teaching Assistant prospect looking to gain hands-on experience before teacher training?Could you support children through purposeful play, early phonics and number work across the EYFS curriculum?*** EYFS Teaching Assistant*** Immediate start until July 2026*** £80 – £90 per day*** ‘Good’ primary school, Wolverhampton*** Support across the EYFS curriculumThe Role:You’ll work with the class teacher to deliver high-quality EYFS provision. You’ll set up continuous provision, run small-group activities, and provide focused 1:1 support. You’ll model routines, encourage language development, and keep brief observation notes to inform next steps.The Candidate:You’re a graduate with a warm, consistent approach and clear communication. You can follow guidance, use initiative, and engage young children through structured play. You’re organised, reliable, and keen to develop towards teacher training.Requirements• Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.• Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.• Desire to work in education/with children – Strong interest in EYFS and early child development.• Experience working with children – Any relevant experience (nursery, mentoring, tutoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.The School:This ‘Good’ primary in Wolverhampton offers a nurturing, well-resourced EYFS with strong teamwork and clear routines.
