The Role: Work with the Science department to support GCSE pupils in Physics and Chemistry through 1:1 tuition and small group intervention. You will help students strengthen their understanding of key topics, reinforce classwork, support revision, and feed back clearly to teachers on progress. GCSE science content is built around subject knowledge and progression across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, while secondary teachers work with pupils aged 11 to 16, or up to 19 in schools with sixth forms.
The Candidate: You are clear, organised, and confident explaining difficult ideas in a simple way. You want practical secondary school experience, enjoy helping students build confidence in Science, and are keen to develop the classroom skills needed for a future in teaching.

- Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
- Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
- Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
