The Role
You will work in the school office supporting the data and administration function. Your focus will be maintaining accurate pupil records, updating attendance and behaviour data, and processing admissions, transfers and leavers. You will input and check sensitive student information, format reports for staff and senior leaders, and ensure documents are filed correctly for audits. You will respond to data requests, manage inbox queries, and work to the school's reporting calendar so deadlines are met. You will follow GDPR, safeguarding and internal data procedures at all times. This role is designed as a stepping stone into a permanent data position within the school.
The Candidate & Requirements
- You are organised, methodical and comfortable handling confidential information.
- You take pride in getting details right and communicating clearly.
- Degree 2:2 or above in a Data/ICT related subject.
- Strong IT skills with confidence using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- High attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Clear written communication and professional approach to sensitive data.
- Experience in admin, data or a school office is desirable but not essential.
