This full-time on-site role, located in Woking, is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Head Pastry Chef. The role involves supervising all aspects of pastry and dessert creation, managing a team of pastry chefs, ensuring quality and consistency in production, and helping to create new and innovative pastry recipes. Additional responsibilities include overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety standards, liaising with suppliers and maintaining an efficient and collaborative work environment.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience as a pastry chef managing a team in a similar role required.
- Knowledge of baking techniques and pastry production processes.
- Familiarity with culinary terminology and measurements.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.

- Proficiency in Bakery and Baking techniques, with the ability to create a wide variety of baked goods and desserts.
- Expertise in Food Preparation and Cooking, including precision and attention to detail in achieving consistent quality.
- Demonstrated Culinary Skills in pastry arts, including creativity in designing and presenting innovative pastry concepts.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities to guide and mentor the pastry team effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Formal training or diploma in culinary or pastry arts is highly desirable.
- Experience in a similar role, particularly in a high-end patisserie production or hotel, is an advantage.
