We are seeking an exceptional full-time Afternoon Tea Chef de Partie to join our team on-site in Woking. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of pastries crafted for our renowned afternoon tea clients which include 5-star hotels, premium caterers, events locations, sport events and boutique establishments. You will assist in menu planning, ensure consistency in quality, uphold food safety standards, and collaborate closely with the kitchen team to deliver an exceptional selection of pastries.
It is an exciting opportunity to join our team led by the head pastry chef and a team of highly qualified patissiers. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in patisserie production with a passion for sweet and delicious creations. They must adhere to health and safety standards to provide clients with the best possible product.
Responsibilities- Lead Afternoon Tea pastries preparation and work as part of a team.
- Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus with particular attention to dietary requirements.
- Decorate pastries using different techniques and recipes ready for distribution.
- Proven experience as Pastry Chef.
- Great attention to detail and creativity.
- Organising and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition.
- Certificate in patisserie, pastry-making, baking or relevant field.
- Food and Safety Certificate.
Schedule: Early morning shift, Day shift, Weekend off (you may be asked on very rare occasions to help on a weekend day).
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract.
Pay: From £32,000.00 per year.
Experience- Baking: 3 years (required).
Work Location: Woking, Surrey.
Qualifications- Experience in pastry, baking, and dessert preparation.
- Ability to creatively design and execute afternoon tea menu items under the guidance of the head pastry chef.
- Strong understanding of food hygiene, safety practices, and kitchen operations.

- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- High level of organisation and time management to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, particularly in a patisserie or high-end dining environment, is preferred.
