As a Business Account Manager, you play a pivotal role in bringing the Goodyear and HiQ Fleet value proposition to life. By nurturing long‑term relationships, identifying meaningful growth opportunities, and delivering thoughtful, well‑executed solutions, you help our customers succeed, and in turn, support Goodyear’s continued growth in the UK fleet market.
What You’ll Do
- Act as a trusted primary contact for assigned business accounts, leading business reviews and collaborative strategic planning sessions.
- Work closely with the Network Manager to monitor account‑specific KPIs and proactively respond to customer needs.
- Create and deliver thoughtful account plans that identify growth opportunities within existing relationships.
- Build and sustain strong, long‑term relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Resolve customer challenges with care, clarity, and efficiency to ensure a consistently positive experience.
- Develop relationships with large leasing companies and selected local fleets.
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of prospective fleet customers through your own lead generation activities.
- Manage new business wins through the implementation phase, ensuring a smooth and well‑supported handover to the account management team.
- Represent Goodyear with professionalism and confidence in customer discussions, including at senior and board level.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in solution‑led B2B sales, with a strong track record of winning new business and managing key accounts.
- Confidence managing end‑to‑end tender and contract processes, including negotiation, pricing, and profitability analysis.
- The ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior and board‑level audiences.
- Strong knowledge of the fleet market (including FN50), with additional exposure to leasing, automotive, or public sector environments valued.
- A proactive, organised approach to lead generation, pipeline management, and strategic account planning.
- Clear, inclusive communication and presentation skills, supported by strong capability in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A collaborative, self‑motivated mindset, comfortable working across teams within a matrix or large‑scale organisation.
