This is a field-based role where you will manage a portfolio of retail and fleet customers within the South East of England territory, with the objective of growing Goodyear's share of business across the multiple customer groups you will manage. This is a territory which already has a strong customer base, you will be required to grow Goodyear's overall share of market by identifying opportunities with the existing customer base plus any potential new business.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day running of each customer account, being responsible for: sales in, managing credit limits, marketing activity, KPI adherence as well as tyre education and training for your customers and their employees.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives (volume, product mix and revenue) by brand.
- Prepare and deploy an annual business plan for each customer group within the territory, using a wide range of sales and marketing tools that are provided.
- Hold regular performance review meetings with customers, identifying any opportunities for growth and also highlight any risks to the volume plan and reporting these back to Goodyear's Head of Sales.
- Understand the attributes of the brands and products that Goodyear sells, educating customers and their employees.
- Maintain accurate customer contact details, log meeting minutes, plan visits using Goodyear's CRM system.
- 80% field-based / 20% home-based with occasional overnight stays when required.

- A consultative account manager with a proven track record of B2B sales and territory management.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
- Experience in using CRM systems and online sales tools.
- Good financial acumen.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers and key internal stakeholders.

- Ability to present to different levels of customer and adapt communication style depending on the audience.
