We’re looking for a Head Chef with passion, creativity and an instinct for exceptional hospitality – someone who can lead and inspire our talented teams while crafting unforgettable dining experiences across the Goodwood Hotel. As our Head Chef, you’ll shape the character of each of our Restaurants, creating distinctive menus that surprise and delight our guests. Working closely with every brigade, you’ll guide menu development, food choices, training, food safety and payroll costs – ensuring each team has everything they need to shine.
You’ll play a central role at the heart of the Goodwood Estate, taking inspiration from our landscape, history, and Home Farm to craft innovative dishes for the Farmer, Butcher, Chef (2 AA Rosette) Bar & Grill Restaurant and our Meetings & Events offering. We celebrate individuality and encourage creativity – your unique style will help evolve our food story, delivering one extraordinary experience after another. Expect to work with the very best: award‑winning organic meats, dairy and produce from our own Goodwood Home Farm and Butchery.
With the guest experience always front and centre, you’ll champion three of our dining environments, ensuring everything we create is fresh, impactful, beautifully crafted and perfectly aligned with the Goodwood brand.
