12 month Fixed Term Contract
An opportunity has arisen for a Digital Content Writer to join the Goodwood Productions team. In this role you’ll be responsible for producing exceptional copy and landing pages that will drive traffic, increase conversion and bring the Goodwood brand voice to life online. We are looking for someone to write, sub-edit and repurpose concise and compelling content for a variety of purposes across Goodwood’s websites and apps. From long-form editorial articles to single-sentence UX copy, you will write with passion and confidence about the breadth of the Goodwood Estate, from Horseracing to Health & Wellbeing. You will have the confidence to reach out to Goodwood’s unparalleled network of experts and wider business to ensure the content you produce is accurate, effective, and a pleasure to read. You will be joining an experienced team ready to support your development in digital specialisms such as user experience and must be comfortable working directly within Content Management Platforms.
What you need to be successful:
- A passion for writing.
- Experience in writing for digital platforms.
- An understanding of SEO best practice including keyword use, internal linking, structured data and metadata, and a desire to improve your knowledge.
- An understanding of online user journeys, and how the use of effective copy can improve customer experience and drive online conversion.
- Experience using Content Management Systems.
- Knowledge of Goodwood and its events is beneficial.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on all of Goodwood’s motorsport events including the Festival of Speed and Revival. Due to Goodwood's rural location, you must have your own reliable transport, although we recognise the value of flexible working and we encourage a mixture of office and home working.
