Restaurant Manager – Goodwood Art Foundation – Chichester An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our team, leading a new café concept that requires an experienced individual to take forward this new venture. The Foundation is a new not-for-profit organisation, located on the Goodwood Estate and is scheduled to open to the public in May 2025. At Goodwood, we have a strong philosophy in gut health, supported by our own organic farm and many local artisan producers, you will be inspired to create a truly unique dining experience. The Goodwood Art Foundation, will showcase world class contemporary artists, their works set in a newly designed landscape by an award winning architect and a leading arts education programme designed by a world leading expert. We are offering a competitive salary, excellent benefits package, a stunning working environment with a group of passionate colleagues. As our Restaurant Manager, you will feel a real sense of ownership, able to inspire, motivate and coach a small team, and be confident in leading them to deliver an outstanding customer experiences. You\’ll assist with developing a unique strategy by creating innovative ways of providing service to improve quality, sales performance and margins without compromising on standards and customer expectations. Your normal working days will be Wednesday to Sunday, there may be a requirement to work additional days or hours as necessary. The café will be closed in the evening, except for events. We are also looking for an experienced Head Chef to join the team and therefore welcome joint applications from couples. What you’ll have: Experience of food & beverage management Knowledge of food and beverage products including wine and spirits Passionate about inspiring a team to deliver perfection Ability to spot new revenue opportunities Experience of small plates restaurants with function capacity Genuine passion for creating an exceptional dining experience.
