As part of our brilliant Racecourse Grounds team, you’ll help keep Goodwood’s much-loved racecourse looking its best all year round. From maintaining the world-class racing surface to caring for the lawns, parade rings and public areas, you’ll play a key part in delivering the exceptional experiences Goodwood is known for. You’ll get hands-on with everything from irrigation and mowing to tractor work, running rail movement and wider grounds maintenance - all while working in one of the most picturesque settings in West Sussex.

What you’ll have:

  • Experience in a similar grounds, turf care or outdoor maintenance role
  • Confidence and competence with grounds care machinery and tractors is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • A keen eye for detail and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Flexibility to support occasional weekend or varied hours, especially around race days
  • Reliable transport (our rural location means this is essential)
  • Racing knowledge is a bonus, but absolutely not a must - we’ll support you to learn

Please note: This is an outdoor role, and you’ll be working in all weather conditions with tasks that can be physically demanding.
