Fixed‑term contract – maternity cover (up to 12 months). We are seeking a friendly and professional Bar Assistant to join The Kennels Bar team at Goodwood on a fixed‑term basis, covering maternity leave for up to 12 months. Reporting to the Bar Manager, you’ll help create a welcoming environment where members and guests feel relaxed, valued and keen to return.
The role
- You’ll deliver warm, attentive service, building rapport through great conversation and a genuine interest in our members and guests.
- Confident behind the bar, you’ll offer knowledgeable recommendations, promote our food and drink offering, and maintain excellent standards throughout service.
- You’ll also support the smooth running of the bar through strong attention to cleanliness, health and safety, and clear handovers.
