Chef de Partie, Hound Lodge

We're looking for a Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at Hound Lodge, our beautifully appointed sporting lodge set in the heart of the Goodwood Estate. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills alongside experienced chefs while creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
No two days are the same at Hound Lodge. From preparing breakfasts and bespoke dinners to supporting special gatherings and unique guest experiences, you'll play an important role in delivering food that reflects the quality, creativity and attention to detail for which Goodwood is known.
Working closely with the Hound Lodge Private Chef, you'll help prepare and present outstanding seasonal dishes using the finest local produce, including ingredients sourced from Goodwood Home Farm.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the preparation and delivery of seasonal menus
- Assisting with the service of breakfast, lunch, dinner and special events
- Preparing and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene, health and safety standards
- Assisting with stock rotation, storage and reducing food waste
- Supporting menu development and contributing creative ideas
- Working collaboratively with the wider culinary and hospitality teams
- Helping to deliver memorable guest experiences through exceptional food
What you'll bring
- Previous experience working within a professional kitchen environment
- A genuine passion for food and hospitality
- Good knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Willingness to learn and develop your culinary skills
- Relevant food hygiene qualifications are desirable
