Festival of Speed – Goodwood Hotel Bar Assistants and Front of House Assistants

Rate of pay: £13.68 (for under 21s) to £14.24 (for ages 21+) per hour. Rates are inclusive of holiday pay.

Festival of Speed is one of the most exciting moments in the Goodwood calendar, and we’re looking for enthusiastic Bar and Front of House Assistants to join us across The Goodwood Hotel, including the Bar & Grill, Farmer, Butcher, Chef, and our Meeting & Events spaces. Set at the heart of the Estate, each area offers a unique guest experience – from relaxed dining in the Bar & Grill, to the award‑winning, farm‑to‑fork ethos of Farmer, Butcher, Chef, and the buzz of private events and functions. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment while delivering the warm, attentive service Goodwood is known for.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Welcoming guests and creating a friendly, confident first impression
  • Supporting bar, restaurant, and event service during busy periods
  • Taking orders and serving food and drinks with care and efficiency
  • Preparing and resetting spaces across our F&B and event areas
  • Keeping all guest spaces clean, organised, and inviting
  • Working closely with the wider team to ensure a seamless guest experience

What you’ll need:

  • A positive, can‑do attitude and a passion for great service
  • Confidence interacting with guests in a busy environment
  • Ability to stay organised and calm under pressure
  • Flexibility to work across different outlets and shift patterns
  • Prior experience in hospitality is desirable

Please note: Due to the length of some shifts, you must be 18 or over. Having your own reliable transport is essential.
