Are you an experienced gamekeeper with a passion for conservation and country sports? We’re looking for an experienced Beat Keeper to take charge of a complex beat, support the Head Keeper in delivering world‑class shoot days, and mentor the next generation of keepers. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and motivating Under Keepers and casual workers across the estate when required.
  • Assisting in the planning of and delivering feeding regimes and habitat improvements with the Head Keeper.
  • Assisting with the construction and upkeep of release pens and drives.
  • Monitoring bird health and welfare across your beat and beyond.
  • Keeping accurate records and supporting compliance reporting.
  • Playing a key role in shaping the future of our shoot operations and conservation projects.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in gamekeeping, ideally managing a large beat and rearing field knowledge.
  • In-depth knowledge of shoot day operations and gamebird management.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Relevant countryside or wildlife management qualifications.
  • Full UK driving licence, machinery certifications, and shotgun/firearms licences.
  • A genuine commitment to sustainability, heritage, and excellence.
  • A team of working dogs.
