Overview
Our Estate Sales team have a varied and exciting role to play in proactively selling and building long term relationships with local, regional and national clients, delivering revenue across the Goodwood estate. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team. You\'ll proactively sell to and build long-term relationships with corporate clients, SMEs and individuals, with the objective of delivering revenue growth across the whole estate. The role will focus on all aspects of estate life, with a core focus on selling our world class meeting and events facilities and suite of exceptional Goodwood experiences.
You\'ll operate as part of the Estate Sales Team, to deliver upon strategies which drive new business from all sectors, with a focused team target, personal revenue target and associated KPIs.
You can certainly expect no two days to be the same, as you could be networking in London one day, and working at one of our event days the next. Flexibility is therefore required with regard to working hours. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills across all levels are key for this role and you’ll be a natural at creating detailed sales plans that deliver revenue.

What you’ll need
- Proven experience of working within a fast-paced commercial sales environment
- Clear evidence of targeting, creating and closing sales in the Entertaining & Hospitality sector
- Strong commercial acumen
- Self motivated - able to work independently as well as part of a team
