We are looking for a creative and strategic Copywriter to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who writes compelling, customer-focused copy across platforms and channels, while collaborating closely with SEO, Paid Media and Creative teams. You will craft copy that supports brand voice, improves conversion rates and aligns with measurable client goals. The role requires strong attention to detail, an ability to adapt tone for diverse clients and experience delivering work on time within an agency environment.
Main Responsibilities- Create persuasive, on-brand copy for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, ads, social media and product descriptions
- Collaborate with SEO specialists to produce content that balances search visibility with user experience and commercial intent
- Develop clear briefs and work with designers to ensure copy and creative are aligned
- Draft and iterate multiple rounds of copy based on client feedback and performance data
- Write and optimise email sequences, subject lines and calls to action to improve open and conversion rates
- Produce short-form ad copy for paid channels, A/B test variations and use results to inform future creative
- Maintain and evolve brand tone of voice guidelines for client accounts
- Proofread and quality-check all copy to ensure grammatical accuracy and brand consistency
- Work with account teams to prepare client-facing documents and present creative rationale when required
- Stay current with content trends, UX writing best practice and platform-specific requirements
- 2-4 years' experience writing copy in an agency or in-house marketing environment
- Proven ability to write for multiple formats and sectors with a portfolio demonstrating commercial results
- Experience working with SEO teams to incorporate keyword-led strategy without compromising readability
- Strong editing and proofreading skills with excellent grammatical command
- Comfortable producing copy to tight deadlines and iterating quickly based on feedback
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms, CMSs (e.g., Shopify, WordPress) and basic HTML for formatting purposes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams
- Experience writing product descriptions and category copy for e-commerce
- Exposure to conversion-rate-optimisation (CRO) principles and A/B testing
- Experience with content management systems and basic SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush)
- Competitive salary range of £27,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
