Who we are

We're The Good Influence - a social agency for the relationship era. We grow brands people believe in. Not the loudest brands. The most trusted ones - the ones helping people eat, feel, look, do or live better. We call it The Good Economy, and it's the only place we work. Whether it’s launching Wild & Weleda on TikTok, supporting life‑saving tech such as R;pple or biohacking with Willpowders, we are here to harness the power of social: developing creative & engaging content, building vibrant communities, activating the right influencer partnerships and powering conversion & awareness through paid.

A few things we're proud of: 15+ industry awards in under five years, Adweek's 3rd Fastest Growing Agency Globally, IPA Beacon Agency, Best Global Small Social Agency 2026, and —- most importantly to us - Campaign's Best Places to Work 2026. The team makes the work, and we work hard to make it a place worth being. Good Influence is in our name, but also in our nature. We exist to build brands and communities but also to give back; we donate 1% of our revenue to 1% for the Planet, supporting The Felix Project as well as being a climate positive business through On A Mission.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Social Exec to drive the day‑to‑day on a portfolio of brands in The Good Economy - the kind of brands people are quietly rooting for, that we're loudly building belief in. You'll run content calendars, brief and ship creative, manage community, and turn the dial on the platforms our clients live on. This is the step between Exec and Manager, where the basics are second nature and you're starting to shape the work, mentor execs, and own bigger pieces of strategy. You'll be a confident operator who reads platforms like a native and can balance volume with meaning - building social ecosystems, not just churning content.

What you'll be doing

  • Social strategy & planning: Build content calendars from a brief using sharp platform and audience instinct. Suggest content pillars, formats, and trend‑led angles with clear rationale. Collaborate with strategy and influencer teams to shape integrated rollouts.
  • Community & engagement: Lead day‑to‑day community management for your accounts - responses, escalations, sentiment monitoring. Spot moments of opportunity to engage in culture, both proactively and reactively. Coach junior team on tone, escalation paths, and brand voice in community responses.
  • Content production & copywriting: Write platform‑native copy that punches above its character limit. Direct light production (concepts, scripts, hooks) and brief design or video as needed. Maintain quality control across every asset that goes out under a client's handle.
  • Data & performance: Read account dashboards weekly; spot what's working and surface insights. Translate data into rec lists for next month's calendar. Run small experiments and document learnings.
  • Client services: Lead day‑to‑day client communication on your accounts, with confidence. Manage feedback rounds; translate input into actions; flag scope creep early. Build the trust that makes you the first person clients call.

Who we're looking for

  • Properly social‑native. You've spent 2+ years inside agency or in‑house social teams and you live on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube the way other people live on email.
  • A confident operator. Calendars, briefs, content production, reporting - you can run the day‑to‑day with minimal hand‑holding.
  • A community native. You know how to read a comment thread, escort sensitively, and turn engagement into relationship.
  • A sharp writer. Captions, hooks, ad copy, internal briefs - your writing earns attention because it's specific, not generic.
  • Culturally fluent. You notice what's shifting in culture before the trend pieces catch up. You can brief teams on tone and narrative arc.
  • Performance‑curious. You read the dashboard, ask why, and have a view on what to try next.
  • Detail‑obsessed. No typos, no broken links, no off‑brand assets going live on your watch.
  • Calm under fire. Late asset deliveries, mid‑campaign pivots, a community moment that needs handling - you stay steady.
  • Ready to mentor. You're starting to take execs under your wing, give them feedback, and lift their craft.

Our Perks

  • Competitive Base Salary - range from £31,000 - £35,000, based on experience, location and role fit.
  • Company bonus scheme up to 10% of salary based on personal & company performance.
  • Hybrid remote working - Tuesday & Thursday in office.
  • Monthly Travel Budget.
  • Monthly Wellness budget.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity, sick pay & health cash plan.
  • Flexible hours: we allow our team to set their own time. We trust our team to get their work done on their schedule.
  • Fast growing company and opportunity to grow with the team.
  • Open‑minded culture, welcoming thoughts and ideas to be shared.
  • Working with charitable organisations to help raise funds and give back.
  • Regular team socials.
  • 25 days holiday allowance (plus the bank holidays).
  • Tools MacBook.
