Who we are
We're The Good Influence - a social agency for the relationship era. We grow brands people believe in. Not the loudest brands. The most trusted ones - the ones helping people eat, feel, look, do or live better. We call it The Good Economy, and it's the only place we work. Whether it’s launching Wild & Weleda on TikTok, supporting life‑saving tech such as R;pple or biohacking with Willpowders, we are here to harness the power of social: developing creative & engaging content, building vibrant communities, activating the right influencer partnerships and powering conversion & awareness through paid.
A few things we're proud of: 15+ industry awards in under five years, Adweek's 3rd Fastest Growing Agency Globally, IPA Beacon Agency, Best Global Small Social Agency 2026, and - most importantly to us - Campaign's Best Places to Work 2026. The team makes the work, and we work hard to make it a place worth being.
Good Influence is in our name, but also in our nature. We exist to build brands and communities but also to give back; we donate 1% of our revenue to 1% for the Planet, supporting The Felix Project as well as being a climate positive business through On A Mission.
The Role
We're looking for a Senior Paid Manager to lead performance media across a portfolio of high-stakes brands in The Good Economy - owning the strategy, the work, and the outcomes. You'll mentor a team of Paid Managers, set the bar on craft, and be the senior face of TGI's paid practice for your accounts. This is for someone who's done the Manager job well and is ready to step up: you can hold a room of senior clients on plans and performance, you've got a point of view on where paid is heading, and you know how to scale a team without losing rigour. You're the operating bar - the standard others measure themselves against.
What you'll be doing
- Account leadership
- Lead performance media across a portfolio of high-stakes clients - owning the strategy, the work and the outcomes.
- Be the senior face of TGI's paid practice for your accounts.
- Set multi-channel paid strategy across your portfolio - the approach, the KPIs, the test-and-learn roadmap.
- Strategy & planning
- Lead senior client conversations on performance, planning and growth.
- Bring outside-in thinking to client briefs: industry context, platform shifts, what competitors are doing.
- Pressure-test plans against real-world results and adjust at speed.
- Team management
- Mentor and line-manage Paid Managers and Senior Execs - review work, set the craft bar, give structured feedback that sticks.
- Lead pitch contributions on paid strategy and run sessions internally to develop the team.
- Build career paths for the people you lead and own their progression conversations.
- Performance & commercial
- Set the analytics framework across your accounts; surface trends across campaigns and turn them into agency-wide best practice.
- Lead deep-dive performance reviews and run experiments that move metrics meaningfully.
- Own forecast and revenue across your portfolio; flag risks early and spot growth opportunities.
- Keep scopes honest - manage burn against budget and coach the team on financial accuracy.
- Client relationships
- Hold the room with CMOs and Marketing Directors - calmly, with data and conviction.
- Partner with creative leads to brief, review, and unlock paid-first creative that wins on platform.
- Champion creative testing as the central lever for performance gains.
Who we're looking for
Senior paid track record. 5+ years in performance media, with a sharp portfolio of senior-led campaigns at meaningful scale. A confident senior face for clients. You can hold the room with CMOs and Marketing Directors - calmly, with data and conviction. A people leader. You've actively coached and developed paid talent and can show how your team has grown under you. Strategically sharp. You think in roadmaps and test plans, not just campaigns. You bring outside context into the room. Creative-fluent. You partner well with creative leads, brief sharply, and know how to unlock paid-first work. Commercially confident. Forecast ownership, margin awareness, scope discipline - these are second nature. Calm in a crisis. Performance dips, platform outages, last-minute pivots - you steady the ship and lead the response. A craft champion. You set the bar on the basics - naming, structure, QC, reporting - and hold the team to it. AI-fluent. Gemini/Claude/Perplexity plus platform-native AI - you've got a point of view on what's working and you're shaping how the team uses it. Curious about what's next. AI in paid, signal loss, retail media, emerging platforms - you've got a point of view and you're shaping it. A culture fit for TGI. Kind, low-ego, ambitious. You want to help build brands people believe in.
Our Perks
Competitive Base Salary range - £47,500 - £56,000. Company bonus scheme up to 10% of salary based on personal & company performance. Hybrid remote working - Tuesday & Thursday in office. Monthly Travel Budget. Monthly Wellness budget. Company pension scheme. Enhanced maternity, paternity and sick pay. Flexible hours: we allow our team to set their own time. We trust our team to get their work done on their schedule. Fast growing company and opportunity to grow with the team. Open-minded culture, welcoming thoughts and ideas to be shared. Working with charitable organisations to help raise funds and give back. Regular team socials. 25 days holiday allowance (plus the bank holidays). Tools MacBook.
