We’re The Good Influence - a social agency for the relationship era. We grow brands people believe in. Not the loudest brands. The most trusted ones - the ones helping people eat, feel, look, do or live better. We call it The Good Economy, and it’s the only place we work. Whether it’s launching Wild & Weleda on TikTok, supporting life-saving tech such as R;pple or biohacking with Willpowders, we are here to harness the power of social: developing creative & engaging content, building vibrant communities, activating the right influencer partnerships and powering conversion & awareness through paid.
A few things we’re proud of: 15+ industry awards in under five years, Adweek’s 3rd Fastest Growing Agency Globally, IPA Beacon Agency, Best Global Small Social Agency 2026, and most importantly to us - Campaign’s Best Places to Work 2026. The team makes the work, and we work hard to make it a place worth being. Good Influence is in our name, but also in our nature. We exist to build brands and communities but also to give back; we donate 1% of our revenue to 1% for the Planet, supporting The Felix Project as well as being a climate positive business through On A Mission.
We’re looking for an Account Director to own the senior client relationship across a portfolio of brands in The Good Economy. You’ll be the senior partner who sets ambition with the client, brings the right TGI capabilities to bear, and makes sure we’re delivering work the client actually believes in. This is for an operator who’s lived a few client-side conversations - comfortable presenting strategy to a CMO, calmly steering a difficult feedback round, and confident shaping a growth plan. You’ll lead a multi-disciplinary team of social, influencer, paid, and strategy talent, and you’ll own commercial outcomes for the accounts under you.
What you’ll be doing
- Portfolio leadership: Own a portfolio of senior client relationships - CMOs, Marketing Directors, founders. Set the ambition with each client and lead quarterly business reviews. Shape the agency response to commercial, creative and operational asks.
- Senior client counsel: Be a trusted advisor on brand, growth and what’s next - not just delivery. Lead the strategic narrative across your accounts - connecting brand, social, influencer and paid into one story. Bring outside context into the room: industry shifts, competitor moves, audience changes.
- Team & talent: Lead a multi-disciplinary team of managers and execs across social, influencer, paid and strategy. Set the bar on what good looks like; coach managers; resolve delivery blockers. Make sure work shipped is work the agency is proud of.
- Commercial ownership: Own forecast, revenue and margin across your portfolio. Build scopes that work for the client and the agency - and renegotiate when reality shifts. Identify and convert organic growth across your accounts.
- New business & external: Lead organic growth conversations and contribute to new business pitches. Author senior proposals, response decks and chemistry sessions. Be a senior face for TGI at industry moments - events, panels, awards.
Who we’re looking for
- A senior agency operator. 5+ years in agency-side client leadership with a portfolio of senior accounts you’ve owned end-to-end. Trusted by senior clients. CMOs and Marketing Directors come to you for advice, not just delivery.
- Strategically literate. You can hold your own with strategists and creatives. You’re not a translator - you’re a contributor.
- Commercially confident. Forecast, margin, scope discipline, organic growth - these are second nature.
- A people leader. You’ve built and led multi-disciplinary teams and can point to the talent you’ve grown.
- Calm in the storm. Difficult feedback rounds, escalations, missed milestones - you steady the ship without losing the relationship.
- A sharp presenter. You can take a complex agency POV and make it land in 12 slides and 30 minutes.
- AI-fluent. Gemini/Claude/Notion AI are part of how you work - and you’re shaping how the team uses them.
- A craft champion. You hold the bar on the basics: brilliant briefs, sharp writing, clean delivery. You catch the small things.
Our Perks
- Competitive Salary - set per role, based on experience, location and role fit.
- Company bonus scheme up to 10% of salary based on personal & company performance.
- 25 days holiday allowance (plus the bank holidays).
- Hybrid remote working - Tuesday & Thursday in office.
- Monthly Travel Budget.
- Monthly Wellness budget.
- Company pension scheme.
- Enhanced maternity, paternity, sick pay & health cash plan.
- Flexible hours: we allow our team to set their own time. We trust our team to get their work done on their schedule.
- Fast growing company and opportunity to grow with the team.
- Open-minded culture, welcoming thoughts and ideas to be shared.
- Working with charitable organisations to help raise funds and give back.
- Regular team socials.
