The Good Egg is an independent, founder-led hospitality business known for bold, Middle Eastern-inspired food, generous hospitality and a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Our original restaurant on Stoke Newington Church Street has been at the heart of the neighbourhood for years. We're looking for a brilliant Restaurant Manager to take it forward. This is more than a role keeping the restaurant running smoothly. We're looking for someone who loves hospitality, brings out the best in people and gets excited about building a successful business. You'll have the opportunity to make a real difference - from creating memorable guest experiences and developing a fantastic team to finding new ways to grow sales and make the restaurant thrive. Lead from the front, delivering brilliant hospitality and building lasting relationships with guests and the local community. Recruit, develop and inspire a happy, confident and accountable team. Take ownership of the restaurant's performance, including sales, labour, costs and profitability. Building strong systems and consistently high standards without losing the warmth and personality that make The Good Egg special. Working with our wider team to develop new opportunities across breakfast, retail, catering, events and local marketing. You're an experienced restaurant leader who genuinely loves food, people and hospitality. You're confident running a busy service, know how to build a great team and understand what makes a restaurant commercially successful. You're hands-on, organised, positive and calm under pressure. You lead by example, take ownership and turn good ideas into action. Above all, you're someone who wants to build something, not simply maintain it. £35,000–£38,000 per annum. 45 hours per week. Genuine ownership of an established neighbourhood restaurant. The opportunity to work closely with an experienced Operations Director and supportive wider team.
