This is a varied, hands-on role combining pizza making, busy service and food production across our growing group of restaurants and food businesses. You'll be primarily based in Hackney, working between our pizza kiosk and central production kitchen, with opportunities to support our restaurants in Walthamstow and Stoke Newington.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about making excellent pizza, confident working with different pizza styles and techniques, and equally happy getting involved in broader kitchen preparation, batch cooking and food production.
- Craft mouthwatering pizzas by preparing, stretching, topping, and cooking them to perfection across various styles.
- Get hands-on with dough, sauces, and toppings, ensuring every ingredient is managed with flair and precision.
- Be a superstar in our central kitchen by supporting food prep, batch cooking, and overall production flow.
- Keep the food quality top-notch, making sure that presentation and consistency are always on point.
- Show off your skills by working independently and efficiently during those bustling pizza service times.
- Stick to recipes like they're your favourite playlist, keeping portion controls and production specs tight.
- Keep cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety at the highest level, because we care about our food and our people.
- Help out with smart stock management, ensuring rotation and reducing waste like a pro.

You've conquered the chaos of a bustling professional kitchen and thrive in the heat of the moment. Independence is your middle name; you manage your workload with confidence and flair. Knowledge of food hygiene and safe handling is second nature to you, paired with a knack for keeping the kitchen organized. You bring a reliable, flexible, and positive vibe to the workplace, making you a joy to have around. Teamwork is your jam, and you love collaborating with others to create culinary magic.
A varied role combining pizza service, recipe preparation and food production. The chance to work across Proud Mary Pizzeria, The Good Egg and our wider food operations.
