We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic, and proactive Events Administrator to join our team at an iconic events venue in Islington. You'll play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of events and ensuring everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes.

About the Role

  • Part-time, 20 hours per week (must be available on weekdays) – plus overtime opportunities available working as an Events Assistant on the floor during events – getting involved in the buzz of live delivery.
  • Tailoring proposals for hospitality and event requests, including ad-hoc requirements.
  • Liaising with organisers and hosts to make sure every detail is covered.
  • Placing product and supply orders for services and events.
  • Writing, printing, and displaying menus for service areas.
  • Coordinating with the internal events team and external vendors for timely service delivery.
  • Acting as a liaison to address client concerns promptly and gather feedback.
  • Supporting company sustainability and ISO goals.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Environmental legislation and procedures.

About You

  • Experience in administration or event coordination, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant sectors.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), systems savvy and comfortable with digital tools.
  • A proactive team player with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Demonstrated time management abilities to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Calm under pressure and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
