Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a dental nurse at The Good Dentist dental clinic located in Altrincham. The dental nurse will support dentists/therapists during procedures, assist with patient care, maintain infection control standards, and manage decontamination of instruments. Additional responsibilities include preparing equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and occasionally assisting with orthodontic and specialised dental care treatments.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Dentistry and Dental Care practices
- Strong knowledge of Infection Control and Decontamination processes
- Experience or familiarity with Orthodontics procedures
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high hygiene standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support patients and collaborate with the dental team
- Relevant dental nursing qualification and registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations within a clinical environment
Practice Hours
Monday to Friday - 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; and occasionally a Saturday 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, either site.
