The Role:
As a Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth service, excellent customer experiences, and a motivated team. You’ll work closely with the bar management to drive sales, maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and ensure stock control is maintained.
Role Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support bar staff to deliver exceptional service
- Ensure the bar runs efficiently during peak times, managing shifts and rotas
- Maintain stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
- Uphold all licensing, health & safety, and hygiene standards
- Train new staff and assist with ongoing development of team members
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Monitor and report on bar performance, helping to meet sales targets
The Person:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a bar supervisory or management role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of licensing laws, health and safety, and food hygiene regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
