An experienced Sous Chef is required to lead services, train and develop junior members of the kitchen team and maintain food quality standards and expectations. You will work alongside Matthew, the founder and Head Chef helping shape The Golden Tooth, having creative input to menus and an involvement in the evolution of the pub. This is a role for an experienced chef, who wants to take the next step in their career, develop their leadership skills and be part of an exciting new opening.
Requirements:
- 2 Years Experience in a similar role (experienced Senior CDP's or Junior Sous are encouraged to apply)
- Full knowledge of meat and fish prep
- Strong service skills, including extensive grill and pass experience
- Experience training and developing others
- A thorough understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene best practices
The evolving menu at The Golden Tooth reflects that of Papi's, with notes of nostalgia and mischief and encompassing Scott's bold, produce-led cooking style alongside a sharp focus on sustainability.
