Duties & Responsibilities:
- Delivering the best guest experience possible & working as part of a fast-paced business.
- Assisting the General Manager in leading the FOH team through each service and dealing with any team issues and challenges.
- Motivating the FOH team to ensure they are prepared to deliver the best quality food & drink safely and to our standards.
- Maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Communicating and working well with the team to ensure the delivery of great quality food and guest service.
- Reporting into the General Manager and working as part of the team to ensure that our food & drink is delivered to our guests to the highest standards.
- Training the FOH team in the guest service cycle, from greeting and seating guests to taking orders correctly and delivering the best service.
- Understanding all dishes on the menu, including allergen information.
- Managing the balance of responsibilities around the pub from guest service to maintaining cleanliness standards of the front of house areas.
- Responsible for the opening and closing of the shift, including opening the till system and conducting opening and closing checks.
- Carrying out a number of different tasks as required.
