The Gold Studios is hiring a Comedy Talent Agent to grow and represent our roster of comedians. We represent a fast-growing roster of digital-first comedians — from viral sketch creators to stand-up comics — and we’re looking for a driven, comedy-obsessed agent to help take them to the next level.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for scouting and signing new comedic talent, supporting their career growth, and managing day-to-day relationships with our artists. You’ll help comedians grow their audiences across YouTube, TikTok, podcasts, and beyond. We’re looking for someone who understands both the traditional comedy world and the digital creator landscape. You’ll need strong industry instincts, great taste, and the hustle to make big things happen for funny people.
The Gold Studios is a leading digital comedy and entertainment company representing the next generation of comedians. We work with stand-up comics, viral creators, and YouTube stars to grow audiences, develop careers, and produce standout content across YouTube, TikTok, and live stages. Our mission is simple: build brilliant careers for funny people.
We believe in 10X not 10%. The Gold Studios requires commitment, focus and sustained urgency. We take pride in our obsession with delivering the best service for our clients. The pace is fast, and our expectations are high but so are the rewards. We are looking to hire amazing people who will challenge the status quo and want to be a part of the next exciting stage in our journey, as well as our fantastic team and entrepreneurial culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Representation: Manage and develop careers for a roster of digital comedians — from stand-up acts to sketch creators.
- Client Servicing: Act as the primary point of contact for talent, handling everything from day-to-day communication to career planning and long-term development.
- Career Growth: Identify and create strategic pathways for talent — whether that’s through IP development, touring, podcasting, or cross-platform expansion.
- Platform Strategy: Advise clients on how to optimise across platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram).
- Talent Scouting: Proactively discover and approach emerging comedy creators who could be a strong fit for The Gold Studios.
- Industry Networking: Maintain and grow relationships with platforms, producers, festivals, venues, and media contacts relevant to digital and comedy talent.
- Support talent on appearances, shoots, and events when needed, ensuring smooth coordination and representation.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- 5+ years in talent representation or talent management (ideally in comedy, digital media, or entertainment).
- A strong instinct for what makes a great comedian or creator — and how to build their career.
- Deep understanding of YouTube, TikTok, and the creator economy.
- Excellent communication and people skills — able to manage talent relationships with empathy, clarity, and vision.
- A strong network (or the drive to build one) across digital platforms, comedy venues, and production companies.
- Hunger, hustle, and a real passion for comedy.
The right person will be:
- Organised, proactive, and self-sufficient — able to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic but hands-on — as comfortable pitching ideas as they are chasing up contracts or sorting calendars.
- Culturally plugged-in — someone who lives online and genuinely loves comedy, creators, and content.
- Career-minded — looking to grow with a fast-moving company that’s shaping the future of digital comedy.
What we offer:
- Competitive Salary
- Wellbeing Scheme
