About The Opportunity:
This role will suit candidates who are creative thinkers, possess strong writing skills, and have the ability to visualise and clearly communicate ideas. It is ideal for those with a genuine interest in beauty, and who are highly engaged with the world of social media and influencers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing influencer and social media strategies for our beauty clients
- Researching and applying insights, data and statistics to support creative concepts and strategic recommendations
- Brainstorming creative ideas for influencer & social media campaign activations
- Writing pitch-winning presentations, both collaboratively and independently
- Attending and contributing to internal strategy briefings and brainstorming sessions
- Participating in client meetings and pitches
- Reviewing presentations and proposals in detail to identify and correct grammatical, factual, and design errors.
- Staying informed on the latest developments in social media, including emerging trends, key influencers, platform updates and the wider creative advertising landscape.
Role Requirements:
- Strong interest and knowledge of the beauty industry, including emerging trends, niche communities, and key players across social platforms
- Awareness of how beauty brands engage with audiences through influencer marketing and content strategies
- Deep understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and their role in influencer marketing.
- Knowledge of content formats, platform algorithms, and best practices for engaging beauty audiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate and present ideas clearly to clients and other stakeholders
- An eye for design, or some previous design experience, is beneficial.
- Any previous experience in a client-facing role is advantageous but not essential.
- Generally tech-savvy (Mac OS).
- Proficient in PowerPoint / Google Slides (essential).
- Basic experience with Adobe Photoshop (advantageous).
- Basic proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (advantageous).
