About The Opportunity: We’re looking for a capable Senior Data Executive to support the day-to-day running of our data operations function within the central Data & Tech team. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping our data ecosystem accurate, timely, and reliable, supporting the flow of campaign and performance data into our proprietary platform (IBEX) and onward into reporting. This role suits someone with strong attention to detail, confidence working with data tooling, and an interest in automation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Operations & Quality: Support the end-to-end flow of data into IBEX, from campaign setup checks through to final data ingestion. Run regular QA to ensure data completeness, consistency, and accuracy; flag issues early and help resolve them. Maintain documentation of workflows, checks, and recurring issues to improve repeatability and reduce errors.
- Process Improvement & Automation: Identify inefficiencies or recurring issues in data workflows and propose practical fixes. Build or adapt automations (e.g. templates, validations, basic scripts) under guidance from the Data Manager. Follow and help reinforce agreed data governance and reporting processes.
- Reporting & BI Support: Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports in the BI tool (e.g., Metabase/Tableau). Write and adjust queries (where applicable) to answer common business questions and improve reporting reliability. Assist with scheduled reporting outputs and stakeholder requests, ensuring outputs are accurate and on time.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Support: Act as a reliable point of contact for day-to-day data operations questions from internal teams. Work with client teams and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify inputs, and resolve data issues. Escalate risks/blockers promptly with clear context and suggested next steps.
Role Requirements:
- Experience in a data operations, reporting, or data management role (agency or similar environment preferred).
- Strong understanding of data quality concepts (validation, reconciliation, governance basics).
- Experience working with BI tools (e.g., Metabase, Tableau, Looker) and building/maintaining dashboards.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets at an advanced level (Google Sheets/Excel).
- Experience with automation or scripting (e.g. Google Apps Script).
- Clear communicator with strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, follow processes, and deliver reliably to deadlines.
