About The Goat Agency (Part of WPP Media)
Goat is a global leader in influencer marketing. Since 2015, we have delivered award-winning social campaigns across 70+ countries, helping brands achieve measurable results through social media.
The role
We are looking for a proactive, creative Senior Social Media Executive to support the development and delivery of social content and community activity across a major sports and entertainment account, within a wider portfolio. You will help bring channel plans to life with platform-optimised content, strong copywriting and a detail-focused approach to publishing and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of social media activity across key platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Facebook), tailored to audience and channel objectives.
- Create and adapt high-quality content: captions, stories/reels concepts, social-first visuals and basic motion assets (where relevant), ensuring brand consistency and platform best practice.
- Manage day-to-day community engagement: monitoring, responding/escalating, and helping build a positive, active community.
- Track and report on performance (reach, engagement, video metrics, growth, click-through), translating data into clear actions and optimisation ideas.
- Stay up to date with platform changes, trends and emerging formats; share insights with the team to improve output.
- Collaborate closely with creatives, strategists, account teams and wider specialists to deliver against timelines and client expectations.
- Support campaign delivery, including briefing, scheduling, approvals and quality control.
About you
- Experience in a social media role (agency or in-house) with evidence of delivering strong, on-brand content and community outcomes.
- Excellent copywriting skills with an eye for tone of voice and detail.
- Confident creating social assets (e.g., Canva/Adobe; basic editing is a plus) and understanding what 'good' looks like across platforms.
- Comfortable working with analytics and performance reporting; you take a data-informed approach to iteration.
- Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in culture-led, audience-first work; category exposure to Sports, Entertainment and/or Consumer Goods is advantageous but not essential.
