Role overview: We are looking for a strategic leader with a strong drive for revenue growth and building robust client relationships to join our dynamic team at Goat. As a Client Solutions Director, you will be instrumental in a talented team focused on growing relationships with WPP Media clients and fostering important connections between various elements of the WPP Media business to maximise client success in influencer. This role is pivotal in driving our growth strategy and ensuring exceptional client engagement and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Growth Planning: Collaborate with WPP Media client leads to develop comprehensive client growth plans, including client-specific targets and opportunities. Share insights with Goat teams to drive scalable net sales growth.
- Priority Client Management: Identify priority clients within key stakeholders based on prospective growth for Goat. Develop and execute individual growth plans and targets by client.
- New Business Development: Drive global new business support initiatives for WPP Media agencies, with a keen focus on increasing net sales volume. Lead and contribute to global RFP processes, ensuring the application of best practices across the business to maximise consistency and profitability.
- Commercial Strategy: Have a clear view of commercial potential and the necessary steps to maximise it across key clients, and across the wider client community you’ll be working with. Be able to justify how you’re spending your time against a clear commercial objective.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and oversight to a team focused on growing relationships with clients; including account management and campaign delivery. Ensure team members possess the skills and capabilities needed to excel in senior stakeholder conversations and client negotiations.
- Continuous Development: Implement a culture of continuous improvement by upskilling team members and maintaining high performance standards.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as a liaison between WPP Media global client teams, and Goat's local market teams for major clients. Provide proactive commercial oversight and strategic guidance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and nurture key relationships within WPP Media, collaborating closely with Global Client Leaders (GCLs), investment teams and other stakeholders.
- Upselling Opportunities: Identify success stories and proactive upselling opportunities. Share these insights with local Goat teams to facilitate their net sales growth.
- Commercial Knowledge Management: Maintain a clear and accurate knowledge centre of all globally agreed commercial and operational models. Ensure local markets adhere to established commercial agreements and prevent unwanted precedents.
- Commercial Progress Reporting: Regularly report on key client and wider agency growth progress and initiatives to the Goat Senior Management Team.
