Job Title: Finance & Operations Executive (Industry Placement – 12 month FTC)

Location: London (Southbank)

Working model: Hybrid 3 days in Office Per Week

Contract Start: September 2025

Role Overview:

Goat is looking for a new hire to support the UK finance & operations teams as the business continues to grow and change following its acquisition by GroupM. The Finance and Operations Executive will play a pivotal role in supporting financial processes and contributing to operational efficiency. This position involves collaboration with both the finance and operations teams, reflecting a holistic understanding of our organization\’s functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day financial operations, including bank reconciliations, basic financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments and invoicing.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to contribute to project budget monitoring.
  • Support efforts to enhance operational processes for increased efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to understand and contribute to standardised operating procedures.
  • Assist in identifying areas for process improvement to optimise workflow.
  • Complete day-to-day operational tasks in line with approved processes.
  • Assist in managing relationships with vendors, including basic negotiations and contract support.
  • Contribute to evaluating vendor performance and alignment with organisational goals.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Interest in supporting senior members of the finance & operations team with adhoc information/requests.
  • Interest in gaining a deeper understanding of how a finance function operates.
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders within the business.
