Role Overview
We’re seeking a strategic and commercially minded EMEA Growth Director to join our dynamic and expanding team at The Goat Agency.
In this pivotal role, you will lead growth initiatives across WPP Media clients within the EMEA region by building and nurturing strong partnerships with agency teams, regional and local clients, and internal stakeholders. Acting as a vital connector between The Goat EMEA team, local market leads, and WPP Media colleagues, you will drive commercial success at a client and market level within the region.
This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct reports, reporting to the Global VP, Group Solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute strategic growth initiatives in collaboration with Goat local market leads across EMEA, identifying regional sales opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners and priority clients within the WPP network, supporting regional outreach and engagement efforts.
- Work closely with internal client leadership and investment teams to align on growth objectives and ensure consistent delivery of strategic priorities.
- Support new business development at a regional (EMEA) and local market level, including RFP responses, pitch preparation, and case study coordination, ensuring high-impact commercial presentations.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client portfolios, leveraging global and local success stories to maximise regional growth.
- Support the Product and Partnerships team by finding opportunities to increase adoption and investment in Goat’s newest capabilities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EMEA commercial and operational models, using insights to prioritise activities that deliver measurable business impact.
- Act as a key commercial contact for operational queries from the EMEA Account Management team, ensuring alignment with internal procedures.
- Track growth initiatives and contribute to regular reporting for internal stakeholders and the Executive team.
This Role Is For You If You Have:
- 5+ years’ experience in sales, business development, or growth roles within the marketing or media industry, ideally with influencer or social media marketing exposure.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, ideally within a networked agency or client structure.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across a diverse workload.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (Hubspot preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with fluency in English and a familiarity with – and passion for – working in different cultural environments.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments effectively.
