Job Description An established RBCA and Structural Warranty Provider are recruiting for a Class 2A Registered Building Inspector to oversee residential developments in Leicester. The site-based role involves a balanced workload featuring a variety of experienced developers and contractors from foundation to completion, with flexible working hours. Basic salary circa £50,000 - £55,000 plus competitive bonus, company car, extended annual leave, with opportunities for career progression. \n Building Inspector \n Responsibilities \n \n Check plans for compliance with building regulations, structural warranty criteria, and associated guidance \n Undertake inspection of works and produce detailed inspection records \n Issue initial notices, plan certificates, amendment notices and final certificates \n Ensure inspections have been conducted with appropriate certification submitted, and that defects/non-conformities have been addressed prior to issuing final certificate \n Operate in accordance with QMS procedures \n Provide mentoring and support for trainee surveyors \n Act as technical liaison internally and externally \n \n Building Inspector \n Requirements \n \n Registered Building Inspector - Class 2 A, B or D (or otherwise undergoing the registration process) \n Site-based experience of construction from foundation to completion \n Understanding of structural warranty standards- desirable \n Knowledge of Building Regulations, and related legislation, standards, and environmental concerns \n Excellent relationship management skills \n Problem-solving capability \n IT literate \n \n Salary & Benefits \n \n Basic salary circa £50,000 - £55,000 \n Competitive bonus \n Company car / car allowance \n Healthcare \n Payment of 2 professional subscriptions & BSR fees \n Ongoing professional development opportunities \n \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
